350. Malaikat-malaikat adalah makhluk rohani yang memuliakan Allah tanpa henti-hentinya dan melayani rencana keselamatan-Nya untuk makhluk lain. "Dalam segala pekerjaan baik, para malaikat berkerja sama dengan kita" (Tomas Aqu., s. th. 1, 114, 3, ad 3).

351. Para malaikat mengelilingi Kristus, Tuhan mereka. Mereka melayani-Nya terutama dalam pelaksanaan perutusan keselamatan-Nya untuk manusia.

352. Gereja menghormati para malaikat yang mendampingi Gereja dalam ziarah duniawinya dan melindungi setiap manusia.

353. Adalah kehendak Allah bahwa makhluk-makhluk-Nya berbeda satu sama lain, bahwa mereka memiliki kebaikannya masing-masing, bahwa mereka bergantung satu sama lain dan bahwa mereka berada dalam satu tata tertib. Ia telah menentukan segala makhluk material demi kesejahteraan umat manusia. Manusia dan melalui dia seluruh ciptaan telah ditentukan untuk memuliakan Allah.

354. Menghormati peraturan-peraturan yang diukirkan dalam ciptaan dan hubungan-hubungan yang sesuai dengan kodrat benda-benda adalah prinsip kebijaksanaan dan dasar kesusilaan.

They serve him especially in the accomplishment of his saving mission to men. 352     The Church venerates the angels who help her on her earthly pilgrimage and protect every human being. 353     God willed the diversity of his creatures and their own particular goodness, their interdependence and their order. He destined all material creatures for the good of the human race. Man, and through him all creation, is destined for the glory of God. 354     Respect for laws inscribed in creation and the relations which derive from the nature of things is a principle of wisdom and a foundation for morality.
